Exposure-cum-Orientation Programme under the RAMP Scheme
IICE IISER Bhopal Conducted RAMP MSME Exposure Session on Incubation Ecosystem Development
The Innovation and Incubation Centre for Entrepreneurship, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal, conducted a RAMP MSME Exposure Session on 11 May 2026 at IISER Bhopal with the objective of providing exposure and practical insights into incubation ecosystem development, institutional entrepreneurship frameworks, and startup support mechanisms.
The programme commenced with a brief introductory interaction highlighting the objectives of the exposure programme and the importance of strengthening innovation and incubation ecosystems within academic and government institutions. The session witnessed participation from faculty members, incubation coordinators, institutional officials, government representatives, and other ecosystem stakeholders from various institutions.
As part of the programme, participants were taken for an exposure visit to the Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF), NMR Laboratory, and the incubation and startup support facilities at IICE IISER Bhopal. The visit provided practical exposure to advanced research infrastructure, innovation support systems, and incubation facilities established at the institute. The interaction facilitated knowledge exchange and discussions on institutional innovation support and startup ecosystem development.
The technical session was conducted by Dr. Preeti Chandurkar, Deputing CEO, IICE IISER Bhopal, who delivered detailed presentations on incubation centre development, startup support services, incubation models, funding opportunities, policy frameworks, and government initiatives supporting entrepreneurship and innovation. The session also focused on operational best practices and strategies for developing sustainable incubation ecosystems within institutions.
The programme coordination and participant facilitation were managed by Mr. Aman Sinha, Project Incubation Manager, and Ms. Anjali Maran, Project Office Associate, IICE IISER Bhopal.
The programme concluded with an interactive Question and Answer session wherein participants discussed various aspects related to incubation centre establishment, mentorship networks, funding support mechanisms, institutional sustainability models, and startup ecosystem strengthening.
The session served as a valuable platform for institutional learning, ecosystem interaction, and exchange of best practices related to innovation, incubation, and entrepreneurship development.
